2026 Keypoint Intelligence Awards: Xerox, Canon and Adobe

Canon and Xerox recently took home either a Keypoint Intelligence “Pick” award or a “Line” award for 2026, and the winners were:

Line of the Year Awards

  • A3
Canon U.S.A., Inc., won the A3 Line of the Year Award.
  • Smart Workplace Solutions
Xerox Corporation claimed Smart Workplace Solutions Line of the Year Award. The company has garnered this award (which applies to all regions that Xerox serves globally) eight years in a row and a total of 12 out of the 15 times Keypoint has conducted the study.

Pick of the Year Awards

  • Xerox Workplace Cloud
This recognition reflects the platform’s standout performance in secure, cloud-first print management that combines content-aware security, flexible authentication, and centralised governance with strong support for hybrid and roaming workstyles.

Keith Haas, Solutions Analyst in Keypoint Intelligence’s Workplace Group, commented:

“What stood out about Xerox Workplace Cloud is how natural it feels for employees, while IT still keeps policy and visibility in one place. People can print the way they always have and then release the job when they’re at the device, which helps cut down on abandoned pages. Signing in can be as simple as a badge, PIN, or mobile option, and users can quickly review the job, make basic changes like color or duplex, or delete it before anything prints. For administrators, the centralized reporting, including visibility into home vs. office activity, helps them understand usage patterns, manage quotas and rules with confidence, and reduce unnecessary spend.”

  • Canon’s uniFLOW Online 2025
The award marks its eighth consecutive Pick win. The accolade recognises the platform’s continued leadership in cloud-first print and scan management.

Keith Haas, Solutions Analyst in Keypoint Intelligence’s Workplace Group, commented:

“uniFLOW Online delivers the modern, cloud-managed experience organizations expect, with security and usability that are second to none. Its centralized cloud administration with Remote Device Access, a dedicated macOS Device Access Client, and secure external support streamlines troubleshooting and hardware control across Canon fleets. IT teams can resolve issues and update configurations remotely, saving time and travel while maintaining consistent uptime across locations.”

Outstanding Achievement Award in Technology Innovation

  • Adobe Embedded Print Engine (AEPE)

This accolade is based on how well the software performed during Keypoint Intelligence testing and evaluation.

“Adobe Embedded Print Engine performed very well during our lab test,” said David Sweetnam, Director of EMEA/APAC Research & Lab Services at Keypoint Intelligence. “There are significant advantages in using AEPE. We were impressed with the clarity of the output produced during testing as well as the reliability for each print job when using the RIP.”

Mark Davis, Analyst in Keypoint Intelligence’s Workplace Group, added:

“Adobe’s contribution to technology innovation is immense, particularly their invention of both PostScript and PDF. Their coverage of each aspect of document management, from creation to review and print, means that knowledge workers can expect the same WYSIWYG output, regardless of where they’re working and the device in use. With PDF technology at the center of Adobe’s innovation, users can expect reliability, high-quality, and consistency at each stage of the workflow.”
