FUJIFILM UK Managing Director Announced

FUJIFILM UK Limited appointed a new Managing Director on 26 June 2026, and an announcement was made last week on social media.

Leading FUJIFILM UK and Ireland business since the end of June is Yoshiki Yamakawa, who brings extensive knowledge of Fujifilm, having started his career with the company in 1999. In his 27 years with Fujifilm at their global headquarters in Tokyo, Yamakawa has been part of the Secretary Office, Corporate Planning and Business Innovation departments.

Speaking about his appointment, Yoshiki commented:

“I am delighted to be joining FUJIFILM UK Limited at such an exciting time, as we celebrate Fujifilm’s 50 years in the UK this year. The UK and Ireland are known for their rich history, diversity and spirit of innovation, and I look forward to working with our talented team to build on Fujifilm’s strong foundations and continue creating positive social impact across the region.”

Yoshiki takes over from Tsutomu ‘Tom’ Watanabe, who served as FUJIFILM UK Limited Managing Director since November 2021. Watanabe spent nearly five years demonstrating exceptional guidance, leadership and mentorship, positively impacting UK and Ireland businesses, people and culture, and will continue to do so as he focuses on his role as Chairman of FUJIFILM Healthcare UK Limited.
