Saso Lukic appointed Country Director at Canon Eurasia

Imaging technology company Canon continues to strengthen its management structure in line with its growth strategy in the EMEA region.

As part of its new structure focusing on the emerging markets of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Turkey stands out as one of the key countries in the region due to its market size, dynamic business ecosystem, and growth potential. In this context, Saso Lukic will assume the role of Canon Eurasia Country Director within the newly restructured Canon Middle & East Region (CCE).

In addition to his role as Canon Eurasia Country Director, Lukic will also be a member of the CCE Regional Directorate leadership team and will be responsible for CCE IPSG Partners & Regional Sales. This aims to further strengthen the link between local priorities in the Turkish market and regional sales and partnership strategies.

Extensive Experience

With over 25 years of commercial leadership experience and over 20 years with Canon, Lukic has held senior management positions with increasing responsibilities across Central and Eastern Europe, Southeastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia throughout his career. Most recently, he served as the Director of B2B Sales and Marketing for Canon Central and Eastern Europe (CCEE), encompassing 24 countries. During this time, he led the growth of the B2B business, strengthened the partner ecosystem, and significantly contributed to improving customer relationships across the region.

Prior to his current role, Lukic managed Canon’s B2C operations in Southern and Eastern Europe, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, the Caucasus, and Central Asia for over a decade, leading numerous key initiatives that supported profitable growth and contributed to the transformation of business processes in these markets.

His experience in markets with diverse economic and cultural dynamics has given him extensive expertise in sales leadership, sales channel development, business transformation, and strengthening the partner ecosystem. Building high-performing teams, developing strong customer and partner relationships, and ensuring sustainable growth will be among Lukic’s priorities in his new role.

Lukic’s regional leadership experience is supported by his long-standing knowledge of the Turkish market. Having previously contributed to growth in Türkiye through regional responsibilities covering print and then photo and video, Lukic will leverage this experience in his new role to further enhance Türkiye’s growth potential within the region.
