BlueStar is to be Acquired by TD SYNNEX

BlueStar has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by TD SYNNEX.

About BlueStar

BlueStar is a leading global distributor of solutions-based digital identification, mobility, point-of-sale, RFID, IoT, AI, M2M, digital signage, networking, connectivity, and security technologies. BlueStar sells exclusively to value-added resellers, integrators, and managed service providers. The company offers services such as pre-ship custom configuration and technical support, and is an authorised service centre for several manufacturers. BlueStar is the exclusive distributor of the In-a-Box™ Series Solutions, which deliver hardware, software, and critical accessories in a single bundle.

Founded on a customer-first philosophy and the belief that “second best is not an option,” and historically specialising as a value-added distributor, BlueStar will remain focused on delivering specialised knowledge, trusted relationships, and dedicated partner support to the channel and the broader IT community.

Ryan Girvin, Chief Executive Officer of BlueStar, comments:

“This announcement is a testament to the hard work, commitment, and passion of our employees, customers, vendors, and partners. Together, we have built a company known for its expertise, innovation, and customer focus. We believe joining TD SYNNEX creates an opportunity to accelerate our growth while preserving the specialized approach and entrepreneurial culture that have defined BlueStar from the beginning. BlueStar’s success has always been built on people and relationships. We are excited about the opportunities this creates for our employees, customers, and vendor partners, and we are confident that TD SYNNEX shares our commitment to delivering exceptional value through expertise, service, and innovation.”

TD SYNNEX’s interest in BlueStar is driven by BlueStar’s specialised expertise, strong market position, and established presence across key global regions. The combination is expected to provide customers, vendors, and partners with access to expanded resources, broader capabilities, and increased market opportunities, while continuing to deliver the deep industry knowledge and high-touch support that distinguish BlueStar.

“BlueStar’s success is built on the expertise of its team and the strong relationships they have developed with partners,” said Patrick Zammit, Chief Executive Officer of TD SYNNEX. “We’re excited about the specialization BlueStar would bring to TD SYNNEX, including a focused go-to-market approach that has differentiated the business and created value for its partners.”

Until the transaction closes, BlueStar will continue to operate as an independent company, and business will continue as usual. Customers, vendors, and partners can expect the same teams, processes, programs, and commitment to service that have been the foundation of BlueStar’s success.

The proposed acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions, including the receipt of applicable regulatory approvals.
