EKM Insight has recently integrated with Sharp Synappx, which helps resellers to monitor Sharp Smart multifunctional printers directly – helping drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.

At EKM Global, we are constantly working on our EKM Insight tool to make it easier to use – and therefore more efficient – for all reseller users. To this end, EKM Insight has recently integrated with Sharp Synappx, which delivers a monitoring and management platform for Sharp Smart multifunctional printers (MFPs) directly via the EKM Insight portal.
Currently, EKM is in phase one of this integration, which covers device data, information, status/errors, meters and toner. Further functionality will be added later this year that will bring even more benefits.
What is Sharp Synappx
Synappx is a platform of applications and services that work with a user’s current office technology to bring smart home convenience into the workplace. It simplifies collaboration and support – something that businesses increasingly seek, especially with many now running workforces operating in many locations through hybrid working.
Some functions are automated for the user, saving time for resellers. Likewise, it enables central management of MFPs, again saving time.
Features that EKM Insight users can benefit from include monitoring usage of devices and the consumables they use, and email alerts can be set up for this. All of the important data that users seek can be found in one place too.
Users can also benefit from enhanced analytics, such as information on the most and least used devices, fleet reports and security reports.

Integrating with EKM Insight requires the user to have a Sharp Synappx account, but once that has been set up, the integration process is an easy step-by-step process that takes only a few minutes to complete.
