Hanin’s MT610 Recognised with iF 2026 Award

The MT610 (or HPRT MT610) is a portable A4 thermal printer designed for mobile, on-the-go printing, and it recently won an iF 2026 Design Award.

It is compact, battery-powered printer, and it uses thermal printing technology, so there is no ink or toner required. The device uses heat-sensitive paper instead of cartridges, reducing cost and maintenance, and it can print standard documents like contracts, invoices, or reports.

The MT610 connects via Bluetooth and mobile apps, or via USB to a PC. It weighs just 500g, and 635g with accessories and packaging if needed, making it ideal for travel or field work.

The device does have a rechargeable battery, which apparently can print hundreds of pages on a single charge. It can support multiple formats such as PDFs, Word, images, etc. via app integration.

The MT610 is typically aimed at:
• Mobile professionals (sales, logistics, field service)
• Students or remote workers
• For Travel use (tickets, documents on demand)

However, it is a thermal printer, and therefore it requires special thermal paper, and it prints in monochrome (black & white), so it certainly is not designed for high-volume office use.

It merits its award for a portable printer.
