HP is bringing the global trend of AI adoption and thus the transformation of processes and workflows, to the point where paper meets digital. HP has announced at CES 2026 that it is introducing the first integration of Microsoft Copilot directly into HP Office Print devices to deliver productivity gains right at the printer, with HP for Microsoft 365 Copilot.
AI adoption is accelerating across the enterprise. According to Gartner research conducted in 2025, 78% of enterprises already leverage AI in 2025, and that figure is expected to reach 89% by 2027. At Microsoft Ignite 2025 event, it was announced that more than 90% of Fortune 500 companies rely on Microsoft 365 Copilot, and organisations are already saving 10-15 hours per employee per month with AI-driven workflows, according to recent Microsoft Enterprise Reports.
What Is HP for Microsoft 365 Copilot?
HP for Microsoft 365 Copilot is a new HP Workpath app that brings Copilot’s generative AI capabilities directly to HP multifunction printers (MFPs). For customers with HP Workpath-enabled Office Printers and Copilot subscriptions, this integration unlocks powerful capabilities right from the printer panel:
- AI-generated summaries of scanned documents or files in OneDrive and SharePoint
- Smart file naming and storage suggestions
- On-device translation powered by Copilot
- Direct Copilot-ready scans from HP Office Printers – no extra steps or devices
- Seamless integration with OneDrive and SharePoint for secure, automated file handling
It is envisioned to be “one experience across devices – whether you’re at your PC or standing at the printer.”
