Kyocera’s new CEO, Shiro Sakushima, has shared his first address to the Kyocera employees, partners and customers openly on social media, and it reads as follows:
“Hello everyone. My name is Shiro Sakushima. As of April 1, 2026, I have officially assumed the role of President, Representative Director, and CEO of Kyocera Corporation, and to mark this occasion, I would like to share a few words with our dedicated employees and valued stakeholders around the world.
“Since joining Kyocera, I have built my career primarily in technology and R&D, followed by leadership roles in Kyocera’s Electronic Components business. Since last year, as the executive in charge of the Strategic Business Transformation Project, I have worked tirelessly toward unlocking the incredible potential within all Kyocera Group employees and elevating our company to a position of strength that is recognized by everyone, everywhere.
“Our ultimate goal is to become “The Company”-a vibrant organization where everyone can unleash their full potential.
“Together with Chairman Yamaguchi and the new Vice Chairman Ina, I am excited to work with all Kyocera Group employees to write the next chapter of our history.
