Sharp Europe has appointed Paul Yokoyama as European President.
Headquartered in London, Sharp Europe serves customers in both the private and public sectors, with a portfolio ranging from printers and display technologies through to collaboration platforms and IT services. Sharp Europe is part of Sharp Corporation, a global technology company employing over 39,000 people worldwide.
In his new role, Yokoyama will be focusing on Sharp Europe’s established Document Solutions business, expanding its new unified IT Services business and fully integrating its broad Display portfolio. Serving over two decades at Sharp, Yokoyama has worked in Europe and held senior leadership positions in Japan, where he oversaw business strategy and growth for the Middle East, Africa, Oceania and Asia. He has experience of streamlining business operations, business planning and profitability.
Paul replaces Joe Tomota, who will now take on a new role as Global Head of Sharp’s Smart Business Solutions.
