Mimaki receives 3M Approval

Mimaki Engineering’s large-format printer UCJV330 series and the UV-curable inks LUS-170 and LUS-175 used in the printer have been approved for the 3M™ MCS™ Warranty Program.

The 3M™ MCS™ Warranty Program is the most comprehensive finished graphics warranty in the industry. The 3M™ MCS™ Warranty provides non-prorated warranty coverage for the graphic’s intended lifespan, including protection against fading, cracking, peeling, blistering, discoloration and other aspects of graphic performance, thereby providing print service companies and their customers with the peace of mind and confidence that their graphics will perform as expected for the intended lifetime of the printed graphic.

UV-curable inks eliminate the need for post-print drying, enabling immediate lamination and installation. Furthermore, LUS-170/LUS-175 ink possesses high stretchability, achieving excellent conformability to curved surfaces. This certification enables Mimaki to offer customers time performance and high application performance in graphic production, such as signage and vehicle wraps and the added value of long-term durability warranty.
