Fujifilm Europe Launches Apeos C3567 and C3061 series

Fujifilm Europe GmbH has expanded its Apeos office portfolio with the launch of the C3567 series and C3061 series, which bring compact, secure A3 multifunction printers to workplaces.

In busy offices, the last thing managers need is to be dealing with printer issues. What they want are devices that are easy to use, reliable and perform consistently.

The latest entrants that aim to provide this to customers is Fujifilm Europe GmbH, which has just launched two A3 multifunction printer series – the Apeos C3567 series and the Apeos C3061 series in Europe. Designed for busy office environments, the new models offer robust security features and compact design.

Developed by Fujifilm Business Innovation Corp. of Japan, the Apeos C3567 and C3061 series offer a consistent user experience and common security features and have already been well received in other markets. This helps simplify installation and maintenance, and enables partners reduce the complexity of managing accessories, consumables and spare parts.

Main features

Fujifilm’s new Apeos series have a raft of features that aim to make it easy to use.

For instance, the Apeos C3567 series features a 10.1-inch control panel comparable to that of higher-end models and a scanner offering 160-page-per-minute single-pass duplex scanning.

Meanwhile, the Apeos C3061 series features a seven-inch control panel and a variety of tray configurations alongside the core functions of the multifunction printer.

With ease of use a priority for the designers, the printers have easy scanning and serverless solutions enhance productivity. For instance, Scan Auto automatically optimises scan settings and removes blank pages, while Server-less Authentication and Server-less On-Demand Print enable secure user management and flexible printing across multiple devices without the need for a server.

Size was also a consideration, with Fujifilm appreciating that space is often at a premium, especially for SMBs. To this end, by redesigning the bypass tray and paper transport path, the width of the main unit has been reduced by 13mm compared with the previous series, resulting in a more compact machine suitable for smaller offices.

Paper handling has also been enhanced, enabling the output of thin 52gsm paper to thick 300gsm paper, as well as long 297 x 1,200mm paper for in-house production of promotional materials.

Fujifilm Business Innovation has acquired third-party certification under ISO/IEC 20243, which is the supply chain security standard for ensuring product safety throughout the product lifecycle.

Sustainability

As you would expect from a printer manufactured by a Japanese company, sustainability was a key consideration in its design.

For instance, the new series adopts Fujifilm’s low-temperature fusing toner called ELFEAT. This toner reduces the fusing temperature by 15°C compared to toners used in previous series. The process of fusing toner to paper is the most power-consuming process in multifunction printers, but the use of a new toner and other features have reduced TEC values.

In addition, the shape and structure of key parts have been also reconsidered with future recycling in mind and supports a staple-free finisher, while supporting Fujifilm’s wider efforts to reduce environmental impact and promote resource circulation.

Reliability and performance

Fujifilm’s new printers are designed to give what time-pressed managers in businesses want – a product that is easy to use and reliable without compromising on performance.

“Offices need printers that are simple to use, easy to manage and reliable day after day,” says Kazuo Tamura, corporate vice president of Fujifilm Business Innovation Corp.

“With the Apeos C3567 series and Apeos C3061 series, we’re giving businesses a compact A3 range that supports everyday work, from secure printing and scanning to producing high-quality materials in-house. It’s a practical addition to our European portfolio and gives our partners another strong option for customers looking to modernise their office print setup.”
