Quocirca’s new State of the Channel 2026 study reveals that while partners are broadly optimistic, the transition to digital services-led business models remains a challenge.
As customer requirements rapidly shift toward cloud, automation, and security, partners are actively working to diversify their portfolios and capture high-value software and services opportunities.
Louella Fernandes, CEO Quocirca, points out in a recent post:
➡️ Software and innovation are key challenges: The top challenge (41%) is expanding software and digital services offerings.
➡️ AI and automation leads priorities: Integrating AI-powered services (44%) and enhancing workflow automation/information management (40%) top the list of strategic priorities.
➡️ Channel Enablement Gap. Only 8% of partners currently rate their primary vendor’s partner program as highly effective.
Much of the print channel remains bound to legacy, device-centric business models, and the challenge facing partners is not a lack of awareness, but a gap between the pace of their transformation and the scale of the emerging opportunity.
The latest report analyses the findings from Quocirca’s Industry Survey conducted online in June and July 2026.
