Sharp has opened its new flagship office in Leeds, which serves as its UK headquarters and is designed as a modern workspace and living technology showroom.
Located in the South Central building, the new 10,200 sq ft headquarters brings together Sharp’s teams in a high-specification workspace while giving clients and partners a dedicated environment to experience how the company combines IT Services, Business Applications, Managed Print, Audio Visual and Display Technologies, and Workplace Design.
Home to nearly 100 of Sharp UK’s 700+ employees, the purpose-designed workspace is one of 14 locations across the UK, and designed as a ‘living showroom’, the new headquarters showcase:
- 195-inch dvLED installation
- meeting room technology, including AV and collaboration technologies
- the latest Sharp print devices
- Hiperwall command-and-control installation
- visitor management solutions
Working alongside commercial interior design specialist, Design Tonic, Sharp’s Workplace Design, Print and Audio Visual teams played a key role in shaping and delivering the new environment.
Leeds is home to some of the UK’s leading universities, and the city provides Sharp with access to top talent and a thriving business community, making it an ideal location for the company’s new headquarters.
Speaking about the opening, Stuart Sykes, CEO of Sharp UK, said, “The opening of our Leeds headquarters represents much more than a new office.
